READY! SET! CRAWL! Already the most charitable pub crawl in the nation, the Ghent Winter Bar Tour will try to outdo itself once again on Saturday, February 25th as it hits the streets of midtown Norfolk for the biggest night out this winter! As always, all proceeds from this event will benefit a fantastic organization making a big difference in our local community - Edmarc Hospice for Children!
In the last decade, the seaport city has undergone an extensive urban revitalization, drawing in artists and musicians from across the country. At the same time, Norfolk’s local entrepreneurs have remained resilient in keeping their businesses unique and unscathed by mass production. The result: a sweet harmony in what has become a thriving Coffee House Scene. At places like Bean There Café, Crema, Café Stella, Elliott’s Fair Grounds Coffee House, Chocollage, and a Latté Café lining the downtown district and Ghent, Norfolk’s resident artists congregate and enjoy regular musical performances. We recently created a coffeehouse map which encourages patrons to tailor their own “coffeehouse hop.”
